Case Study
Back To Work Store
Back to Work Store was a joint venture between LWDA, Devstars and Octink. A one-stop shop for all your PPE and social distancing signage needs.
THE
CHALLENGE
Quite simply, it was a race against time to get the brand in place and the store online. We wanted to get to market quickly and respond to consumer demand for COVID-related signage.
However, despite time pressures, we needed to take care to convey the right messaging and level of professionalism that we would for any other project.
Our brand designers set to work producing a range of logo options for the wider team to review.
THE RESULT
Our designers rose to the occasion, producing an identity that was professional, tonally accurate and visually pleasing.
The logo presents an arrangement of dots, each of which represents a person. One dot is highlighted in magenta, signifying someone who is carrying Coronavirus and so must be avoided. This is possible by staying at least two meters apart from other people, which is suggested by the zig-zagging line through the middle of the icon.
As a final stroke of creative genius, the dots are arranged in the shape of a heart. This communicates the caring nature of our countries’ NHS staff, reminding us all to take care of our emergency workers as much as they take care of us.
Once the brand identity was finalised, we created a range of social distancing signs, including floor decals, window vinyl, posters and banners.
Finally, we applied the brand to the website itself.
It’s important to have a great brand to help launch a new business online. One that helps convey the right level of quality in your products and professionalism in your service.
The website was built using an existing WordPress theme but altered by our talented web development team to fit our requirements.
