A bespoke designed responsive website for a luxury eco-cabin rental in North Devon.
Paradise Pines was marketed exclusively by Canopy and Stars, but the client also wanted to market directly to customers with their own website.
To do this effectively, the client would first need an identity that spoke to the target market; affluent couples and families who are looking for something a little different in their staycation.
The brief required us to convey the exclusive nature of the resort, the remoteness of the experience and uniqueness of the lodgings.
Taking inspiration from the locality and the wonderful photography provided to us, the design team set about creating a colour palette that was modern and sophisticated.
Combining two contrasting shades of green with black & white gives the brand a very premium quality. Which when seen in the context of the logo was suggestive of a private members club.
The deer silhouette fully communicates the idea of being close to nature and relaxing underneath clear night skies. We used a strong diamond shape within the icon to convey the angular nature of the cabin’s design.
We used a mixture of fullscreen images and large blocks of colour to deliver a high level of visual impact. Text is kept to a minimum, letting the images do the talking.
The navigation is always exposed, keeping users from feeling lost and most importantly showing the booking link at all times.
The website was linked to Google My Business to help maximise exposure and drive bookings on & offline.
If you are looking to promote a resort, venue or location and would like a website to help with your marketing, why not drop us a line?
